Working in the development team gives me the opportunity to raise funds that are then awarded to our grantee organizations. The most rewarding part of my job is executing a successful event. Our events allow us to educate a new group of individuals about the key issues affecting women and girls. I have worked in non-profit for over 15 years, and each organization has a unique set of challenges. However, they all share the goal of solving a problem or need. It is that commitment to a cause and to making a difference in our communities that drives me to learn, and apply my knowledge and experience to raise the money needed to make change happen for women and girls.
